Description

This activity allows physicians in the practice of medicine to hone their skills in assessing and interpreting information that is presented in medical literature through the observation of the presenting and analyzing new information and research.  To develop a more in-depth understanding of the interface between clinical investigation, translational research and the clinical practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the topic areas addressed by each research project.

Objectives

  • Develop and review medical problem solving, new approaches to manual and surgical skills, and skills in evaluating new information.
  • Present a forum for residents and fellows in Ob/Gyn to present their original research.
  • Introduce residents, fellows, full-time faculty and community faculty, nurses, PAs, NPs and staff to the newest and most accepted approaches to the discipline of Ob/Gyn.
  • Acquaint audience with national leaders in the discipline and their philosophies and research.
