Description
The management of complex Orthopaedic patients changes with new advancements and has improved dramatically over the past several years. This program will begin with Orthopaedic resident research presentations on the following subjects: collagenase injection of DIP joints in Dupuytren's contracture, evaluation of ACL repair by PET/MRI imaging, surgeon use of radiation protection equipment, finite element analysis of multi-rod constructs for spinal pedicle subtraction osteotomies and patellar tendon repair. Hand Fellows will present on schwannomas of the brachial plexus and distal biceps repair.
This conference will also highlight a presentation by a distinguished visiting guest professor on the topic of operative treatment of injuries due to Orthopaedic trauma.
