Imaging Spectrum in Dementia

Dates and Times

Objectives

1) Provide information about dementia risk, types, and preventative measures to understand clinical implications for neurology interface.


2) Teach imaging findings in different forms/ types of dementia and how that is impacted upon by physiology. This will assist with diagnosis and treatment planning in conjunction with clinicians.


3)Discuss assessment with MRI and PET for anti-amyloid therapy and ARIA diagnosis including ramifications upon stroke assessment in the ED, follow-up paradigm for decision making regarding continuance or abortion of therapy.
