Description
This talk will help to understand what to handle samples of hematological malignancies and tumors.
According to the morphological examination of the sample we will decide what probes to order for a specific malignancy and how to handle the presence of complex rearrangements.In the present era is very important to characterize complex abnormalities that may involvement rearrangements of genes important in the etiology of a specific disease.

Objectives
1.To familiarize with the main abnormalities in hematological malignancies
2. To get familiar with the main FISH panels in hematology/oncology
3. To recognize the importance of cytogenetics as a tool to monitor hematological neoplasias.
