  • Define the important role of autoantibodies in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (myositis)​

  • Postulate the mechanisms for statin myopathy ​

  • Enumerate the salient histologic and clinical features of anti-HMGCR myopathy ​

  • Examine the role of HMGCR autoantibodies in myositis
