Objectives
- Understand the anatomy and physiology behind chronic venous disease and differentiate between superficial and deep reflux.
- Differentiate chronic venous disease from other similar presentations of leg swelling.
- Discuss conservative treatment measures for chronic venous disease such as lifestyle modification and compression therapy.
- Describe the various invasive techniques that are available for patients ranging from open surgery to endovascular techniques and discuss their outcomes.
