Description
The ability to deliver effective feedback is an essential skill for the medical educator. This session will review the fundamentals of formative assessment and provide participants a framework for delivering effective feedback, both affirming and constructive.

- Promote a positive learning environment and set the stage for delivering feedback
- Apply the ADAPT framework for delivering effective feedback
- Frame specific examples for feedback using Situation / Behavior / Impact statements
- Employ strategies to promote inclusive feedback
