Rhinoplasty

Objectives
1. Understand the underlying structural, soft tissue including supportive ligaments, neurovascular anatomy of the nose, septum and the turbinates.
2. Be able to evaluate a patient for rhinoplasty including history-taking and examination.
3. Be able to perform a comprehensive nasofacial analysis in the frontal, lateral and basal photographic views.
4. Understand some of the aesthetic “ideals” that help guide rhinoplasty planning.
5. Define the standard incisions used in septal and nasal surgery.
