Objectives

Organ Preservation in Rectal Adenocarcinoma: Lessons Learned from OPRA Trial

1. Identify risk factors for the development of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC)
2. List medical therapies and discuss surgical interventions for the treatment of NEC.
3. Describe novel mechanisms that increase intestinal susceptibility to NEC.
