my lecture will review the material I cover in my 4th year selective which discusses the ways in which medicine and law intersect beyond medical malpractice although that will be discussed. Topics include when the legal relationship between you and your patient begins, constitutional implications of medical practice; informed consent; charting issues; statutes of limitations among others
