Description

This interactive workshop introduces practical AI applications for medical education using SBU-supported tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, NotebookLM, Turnitin AI detector. Through hands-on activities and clinical case scenarios, residents will explore how AI can support chart review, clinical reasoning, patient communication, documentation, and self-directed learning. The session also highlights ethical considerations and professional responsibilities around AI use in health care, drawing on guidance from the American College of Physicians. Participants will leave with practical strategies for using AI to enhance efficiency and decision-making in pre-clinic, clinic, and post-clinic settings.
