Description
This presentation will go over diseases caused by obligate intracellular bacteria and spirochetes along with their epidemiology, clinical presentations, and laboratory work-up as well as public health implications.

Objectives
1) Identify and understand methods of identifying obligate intracellular bacteria.
2) Identify and understand methods of identifying spirochetes.
3) Understand the clinical presentation correlated with laboratory findings to diagnose diseases caused by obligate intracellular bacteria and spirochetes.
