Objectives
1. Understanding how acute stress response can be considered when evaluating adolescents with anxiety and anhedonia. Understanding the patterns of brain maturation, and white matter and gray matter maturation through adolescence
2. Understand the stress regulation systems, and the concepts of allostatic load
3. Understand the neural systems that regulate stress response.
4. Understanding mechanisms by which abnormal stress response and disinhibition may contribute to anxiety and substance use initiation
