Objectives

  • Learn to recognize which infants are at risk of developing retinopathy of prematurity
  • Understand the pathogenesis and mechanisms by which blood vessels in the retina develop
  • Critically evaluate the current therapies available for retinopathy of prematurity
  • Ensure that infants are appropriately followed up after discharge from the NICU
