Objectives

1. Attendees will understand a patient’s clinical experience of multiorgan failure requiring.
cardiopulmonary life support while experiencing loss of decision-making capacity and delusions
2. Attendees will understand a family’s experience in making end-of-life decisions for a critically ill
loved one.
3.  Attendees will understand how utilitarianism is a constant danger to critically ill patients at endof-
life.
