To optimally carry out their critical roles in the health care process, physicians need sources of resilience and well-being.In short ,in order to do well- they must be well. The past decades reveal a steady erosion of physician wellness that is demonstrated
most clearly in the frequency of burnout symptoms . I will discuss this burnout, how to recognize it and how it affects pathology residents and attending physicians specifically
