Description

Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) has an essential role in the evaluation of  patients with a thyroid nodule. It is critical that cytopathologists communicate thyroid FNA results in   terms that are clinically helpful. This conference will address terminology , collection, interpretation , reporting , classification and other issues related to thyroid FNA

Objectives

Participants will learn how to collect and interpret FNA samples from thyroid lesions.

Participants will learn how to classify thyroid lesions based on various classification system.

Participants will be familiar with thyroid lesion reporting terminology.
