Objectives
1. Pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus
2. Diagnose systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) based upon recognition of characteristic clinical manifestations in the setting of supportive serologic studies
3. Current approaches to drug therapy in SLE
4. Discuss the management of SLE, particularly more recent evidence regarding the use of B cell targeted therapy
