Description
To address practice gaps, provide needs-based education for radiologists to improve their knowledge regarding specific topics and skills, in order to improve performance and patient outcomes.

Objectives
Learning Objectives:
• Outline a global algorithmic approach to the patient with pain who presents to interventional radiology
• Discuss the application of advanced imaging guidance to the management of pain in light of the current opioid crisis in The United States (and across the world)
• Introduce difficult clinical scenarios beyond pain management that may be addressed using the interventional radiology skillset
• Delineate potential barriers to the expansion of IR to new indications, and describe methods for mitigating or minimizing those barriers
