Description
This is a based-evidence power point presentation of Lyme disease and the current recommendations from IDSA, with special emphasis on Lyme arthritis and its clinical manifestations and complications.

1. To learn the clinical stages of Lyme disease and the epidemiology of Lyme disease in Suffolk County.
2. To understand the pathophysiology of Lyme arthritis and its complications.
3. To identify the best treatment for Lyme arthritis and diagnostic tests.
4. To learn the new Lyme diagnostic tests in Stony Brook Hospital.
5. To understand the syndrome "chronic refractory Lyme arthritis."
