Description
Diagnosis and Management of Clostridioides Difficile Infection: the Nuts and Bolts

Objectives
1) To improve interpretation of multistep algorithms for diagnosing C. difficile infection.
2) To develop the ability to categorize C. difficile infection as non-severe, severe or fulminant.
3) To gain an understanding of which antibiotic therapies to administer for the treatment of initial, recurrent and fulminant C. difficile infection.
4) To develop an appreciation for the role of fecal microbiota transplantation in the treatment of recurrent C. difficile infection.
