Description
GYN Ultrasound Case Conference provides an opportunity for residents and faculty to review clinical case
scenarios in gynecology with ultrasound findings. This addresses the need to learn the use of ultrasound
imaging in the diagnosis of gynecologic diseases.

Objectives
- Describe the ultrasound findings of submucous myomas. Understand the role of Saline infusion sonography and 3-D ultrasound in describing the location of a myoma.
- Understand and recognize the ultrasound findings of hematometra and hemoperitoneum.
- Understand and recognize the ultrasound findings of acute tube-ovarian abscess.
- Review the differential diagnosis and ultrasound findings of cystic /solid adnexal masses including fallopian tube carcinoma.
- Review another case of interstitial ectopic pregnancy, the ultrasound findings, and the management.
