Objectives
1. Initial workup needed for the diagnosis of MGUS and multiple myeloma.
2. Know when to refer to hematology/oncology for further workup of MGUS and multiple myeloma.
3. The natural history of multiple myeloma with new treatments and the trajectory your internal medicine patient with multiple myeloma is on.
