OCD and Health Anxiety in Primary Care Settings

Objectives
1) Be able to identify and describe the difference between Obsessions and Compulsions.
2) Be able to identify common type of obsessions and compulsions--including contamination/washing, violence/harm, checking/counting, symmetry/exactness.
3) Be aware of population prevalance rates of OCD before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
4) Be able to educate patients in a primary care setting about the symptoms of OCD and possible treatments for the disorder, including CBT/Exposure and Response Prevention.
