Description
GYN Ultrasound Case Conference provides an opportunity for residents and faculty to review clinical case
scenarios in gynecology with ultrasound findings. This addresses the need to learn the use of ultrasound
imaging in the diagnosis of gynecologic diseases.

Objectives
- Recognize and describe the ultrasound and clinical findings of acute PID and chronic tube ovarian abscess.
Understand the treatment of acute PID. - Describe and recognize the ultrasound findings of benign ovarian cysts, including mucinous cystadenomas.
Describe the typical findings of benign cysts and understand the ultrasound criteria to distinguish benign from malignant masses. - Review the ultrasound findings of ectopic pregnancy.
