Objectives

  • Review the role of endovascular treatment of cSDH within the context of epidemiology, pathopsyiology and conventional management.
  • Understand the mechanism/goal of endovascular treatment to treat cSDH as the sole therapy or as a pre and postoperative adjunct to surgical evacuation.
  • Discuss current and future research trials to define the safety and effectives of MMA embolization for cSDH.
