Description

Obstetrics Case Conference/Ultrasound provides an opportunity for Maternal Fetal Medicine fellows and faculty to review clinical case scenarios and their correlation with ultrasound findings.

Dates and Times

Start: 10/13/2021 7:00 AM
End: 10/13/2021 8:00 AM

Objectives

1. Review the ultrasound findings of mature teratoma/dermoid cysts.
2. Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings of ovarian torsion including, stroma edema, follicular ring sign, and whirlpool sign.
3. Recognize and describe the ultrasound and clinical findings of TOA and understand the potential etiologies of same.
4.Recognize and describe the ultrasound findings of mucinous cystadenomas, and the differential diagnosis.
5.Understand the role of color Doppler in the evaluation of adnexal masses.
