Objectives

1) To understand how the covid pandemic has affected orphanhood in the U.S. and globally.


2) To be able to identify how the loss of a parent relates to the framework of adverse childhood experiences.


3) To be able to critically assess the needs of children who have been orphaned, and identify the types of programs and policies that may best meet such needs.
