Objectives
Understand the relationship of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) to cardiovascular risk and how reducing LDL-C reduces CV risk.
Be aware of the many trials of many different classes of drugs where lowering LDL-C leads to a reduction in CV events.
Learn algorithms to deal with patients with statin intolerance
