Objectives
1) Outline frameworks, concepts, and terminology used to identify, describe, characterize, and study the sexual and gender diverse population.2) Identify and describe select dermatologic conditions, skin care needs, and health disparities in the sexual diverse and gender diverse population.3) Discuss the basics of social determinants that impact the healthcare of sexual and gender diverse people.4) Describe current knowledge of sexual and gender diverse representation in dermatology across the training and professional continuum and identify opportunities for improvement.5) Discuss fundamentals of public and structural policy as well as issues of health coverage and access that impact the ability of sexual and gender diverse people to receive quality, evidence-based, unbiased, and affirming care.
