Description
To address practice gaps, provide needs-based education for radiologists to improve their knowledge regarding specific topics and skills, in order to improve performance and patient outcomes.

Objectives
After the presentation the viewers should be able to:
Learning Objectives: Recent progress in the development and translation of molecular imaging techniques for the purpose of advanced diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.
Development of two specific imaging markers that have been developed in our lab, one for detention and quantification of amyloid deposition in Alzheimer's disease and one for myelin damage in myelin damage in multiple and spinal cord injury. Both imaging markers have been successfully translated from benchtop to the bedside of patients, enabling their use in clinical studies
Educational objective: Use of these imaging markers in evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic interventions currently under development for these conditions
Use of molecular and functional imaging techniques to provide valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders.
