Objectives

Describe three most common causes of prenatal hydronephrosis and how we can use postnatal imaging to distinguish them

Identify patients that would benefit from prophylactic antibiotics in the newborn period due to increased risk of urinary tract infection

Appreciate the benefit of a team based approach to bridging the management of prenatal hydronephrosis with postnatal persistence; including MFM, pediatric urology, pediatric nephrology, NICU, and outpatient pediatrics.
