Objectives

To recognize clinical manifestations and emergency treatment of the hereditary methylmalonic acidemias - newborn screening   

To understand clinical syndromes associated with isolated MMA

To review traditional treatment approaches for the hereditary methylmalonic acidemias

To review gene based therapies  for the hereditary methylmalonic acidemia
