Description
Brain contusions

Objectives
1. The potential risks that patients with brain contusions are exposed to, mainly a sudden increase in the volume of the hemorrhage, causing changes in mental status and possible death - the nature of
progression.
2. The risk factors for progression. Patients with risk factors need a special attention and observation.
3. Brain edema and its prognostic value in patients with traumatic brain injury. Patients with brain edema are at high risk to die; they should have an earlier intervention and treatment to prevent mortality.
