Describe the demographics of severe TBI in Suffolk county, including factors contributing to the return to consciousness
Understand how deficiencies in glutamate transmission lead to neuron loss after severe TBI
Understand brain circuits supporting arousal, and new techniques for neuromodulation of these circuits
