Description

This presentation will focus on the evaluation of chronic kidney disease and pearls for the management of CKD and proteinuria for primary care providers.

1. Understand the epidemiology of CKD in our region and risk of adverse outcomes

2. Utilize appropriate laboratory testing to diagnose CKD and proteinuria

3. Describe hypertension management targets in patients with CKD

4. Choose medications to lower the risk of proteinuric CKD progression
