This educational workshop aims to address gaps in knoweldege and training regarding obesity interventions, barriers to care and health related social needs, by providung education regarding evidence based interventions for obesity.

Objectives

  • Discuss evidence based interventions that are available to patients with obesity.
  • Review treatment options for patients with overweight or obesity.
  • Provide appropriate referrals to clinicians and programs that can provide evidence based interventions for obesity.
  • Understand common unmet social needs of our patient with obesity and resources available to address these needs.
