This symposium is dedicated to exploring the latest advancements in the fight against Alzheimer's Disease.  This event will spotlight emerging treatments, cutting-edge clinical trials and innovative non-pharmacological interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life.  Researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals and the community at large are invited to attend.

Objectives

  • Describe the latest advancements in pharmacologic treatments for Alzheimer's Disease, including mechanisms of action, indications and clinical trial outcomes. 
  • Evaluate the role and effectiveness of non-pharmaceutical interventions (therapies and lifestyle changes) in improving quality of life for individuals with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. 
  • Apply current clinical guidelines and evidence-based strategies to support early diagnosis and risk assessment of Alzheimer's Disease.  
  • identify patients who may be appropriate candidates for ongoing or upcoming Alzheimer's-related clinical trials.
  • Integrate multidisciplinary approaches to care that address medical, psychological and social needs of patients and families.
