The Department of Surgery Research Day is an annual educational activity designed to showcase and promote scholarly work across the department, featuring research presentations by faculty, residents, and medical students in a structured academic forum. The program includes poster presentations displayed electronically, oral presentations, and a visiting guest speaker, providing participants with exposure to current clinical, translational, and outcomes-based research. Attendees engage in interdisciplinary discussion, critical appraisal of research methodologies, and exploration of emerging advancements relevant to surgical practice.
