Objectives


1. Explain hedgehog inhibitor-induced hair loss as a type of telogen effluvium.


2. Describe the hedgehog signaling pathway.


3. Design and evaluate mouse models of hair loss.


4. Establish relationship between dermal papilla cells and keratinocytes in the hair follicles.


5. Identify targets of the hedgehog signaling pathway in the hair follicles.
