Description
Ophthalmology Clinical Rounds consist of a 1.5 hour lecture time by faculty and invited speakers who focus on new advances in the clinical and basic science fields of Ophthalmology. Emphasis is placed on contemporary techniques of diagnosis and medical/surgical therapy. The sessions provide a forum for group discussion of difficult or interesting diagnostic/management problems encountered by the specialist.

Objectives
- Define terminology related to open-globe injuries
- Identify standards for eye trauma center designation
- Describe epidemiology of ophthalmic trauma and databases utilized for trauma research
- Identify areas of controversy in the management of ophthalmic trauma and gaps for future research
