Objectives

1. Identify how the sudden wave of policies restricting the rights and health care access of sexual and gender minoritized (SGM) people is impacting SGM people's well-being and mental health.

2. Elucidate how policies restricting the healthcare of gender minoritized (GM) people are not supported by scientific evidence.

3. Explain how mental health clinicians can incorporate an understanding of these structural drivers into their clinical practice to better support SGM people.
