Description

My lecture is aimed to provide advice to residents/fellows pursuing careers by going through the three step process outlined and highlighting critical issues to evaluate depending on the practice option pursued : academic , national private equity backed practices , physcian owned private practice and hospital system practice. My lecture also focuses on the standard contract terms and conditions , including problematic provisions . I provide an overview of malpractice insurance and the importance of understanding how legal defense is handled. Finally , I offer advice on negotiating the agreement.
