Objectives
1. Understand gait biomechanics of the foot and ankle as it correlates to implants for total ankle arthroplasty.
2. Understand the indications and contraindications for total ankle arthroplasty.
3. Understand the evolution of total ankle arthroplasty implants over the years and reason for failure/success.
4. Understand the steps needed to undergo deformity correction in conjuction with total ankle arthroplasty.
5. Understand the preoperative predictors that can affect overall outcomes.
