Presentation will review aspects of transfusion such as risks, benefits, alternatives along with selected literature, and certain “new” blood products and processes.

Objectives
Further understand risks, benefits and alternatives of transfusion.
Gain further familiarity with certain transfusion reactions, post donation information, “lookbacks” and related items.
Gain further familiarity with Cold Stored Platelets (“CSPs”), Low Titer O Whole Blood (“LTOW”), and Pathogen Reduced Cryoprecipitated Fibrinogen Complex.
