Two speakers will present from the Dept of Public Health . 

  1. Speaker: Marie Aline Sillice, PhD, Core Faculty, Program in Public Health, Assistant Professor, Department of Family, Population, and Preventive Medicine
    Title: Exploring the association between affect, physical activity motives, and moderating effects of gender and age in depressed adults

  2. Speaker: Guanyu Huang, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Program in Public Health (PPH), School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (SoMAS)
    Title: The title is Application of Environmental Data from Multiple Platforms for Health Studies.

Objectives

  1. Understand the extent to which motivators for exercise among individuals with depression are internalized or externalized
  2. Discuss the implications for developing effective, personalized exercise interventions targeting this clinical population
  3. Introduce new remote sensing and AI to enhance our exposure estimate for health studies
