We will be discussing a 62-year-old female with right-sided weakness

Objectives

    Localize and differentiate the neurovascular etiology of acute right-sided weakness.
    Apply evidence-based acute stroke evaluation and management strategies for patients presenting with focal motor deficits, including appropriate imaging selections, interpretation of vascular studies and time-sensitive decision-making for thrombolysis or neurosurgical intervention.
    Discuss secondary prevention and prognosis based on stroke mechanism by correlating imaging findings, risk factors, and clinical course to guide management.
