Objectives

1. The resident or fellow will perform complete assessment of the wide variety of patients presenting with male and female pattern baldness. 

2. The resident or fellow will participate in facial aesthetic surgery related to alopecia including: 

          a. Male pattern baldness. 

          b. Female androgenic alopecia. 

          c. Surgical complications leading to hair loss including but not limited to sideburn loss following facelift surgery, widened scars                and poorly done hair restoration. 

3. Develop an in-depth knowledge of medical treatment for hair loss.
