Transdisciplinary research design in translational neuroscience in Psychiatry

Objectives

1. To stimulate critical thinking about transdisciplinary research design in translational neuroscience research in Psychiatry, with a focus on use of model organisms.

2. To learn how conceptual innovation is generated through transdisciplinary hypothesis generation and testing how complementary perspectives, theories and approaches can be used to question to build scientific rationale and new research designs.

3. To learn the importance of data science and computational approaches as tools for transdisciplinary neurobehavioral science.

4. To engage participants in small-group exercises focused on using transdisciplinary principles to design research studies.
