Description

This session reviews the sonographic anatomy of the neck, appropriate ultrasound techniques, and the current evidence supporting ultrasound-guided neck procedures.

Objectives

1. Review sonographic anatomy, technique, and evidence for neck procedures:
Subclavian vein access
2. Airway- cricothyrotomy and endotracheal tube confirmation
3. Regional anesthesia: interscalene brachial plexus, ansa cervicalis, greater auricular blocks
4. Stellate ganglion block in V-tach
